These opportunities involve electrical installations supporting large-scale soybean processing and petrochemical facilities, including industrial power distribution, motor controls, equipment installations, and process-related electrical systems. We are looking for skilled Journeyman Electricians with strong industrial construction backgrounds, particularly those experienced in agricultural processing plants, petrochemical facilities, refineries, manufacturing plants, and other heavy industrial environments. This position pays $60.00–$65.00/hour DOE, plus overtime and $145/day per diem for days worked. The standard schedule is 5/10s (50 hours per week), with additional overtime available. Responsibilities Install industrial electrical systems and equipment in processing and manufacturing facilities Install EMT, rigid conduit, fittings, supports, and electrical raceways Install cable tray systems and pull industrial power and control wiring Install, connect, and terminate industrial motors and motor control circuits Install and wire Motor Control Centers (MCCs), switchgear, transformers, panels, and disconnects Perform electrical terminations for industrial equipment and power distribution systems Install wiring and electrical connections for instrumentation and process control systems Read and interpret electrical blueprints, single-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment layouts Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and installation verification Assist with equipment startup and commissioning activities Coordinate electrical installations with project supervision and other construction trades Follow NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and all site-specific safety requirements Licensing Requirements Active ND Journeyman Electrician License or an active Journeyman Electrician License from a reciprocating state required. ND Reciprocal States: AK, CO, ID, IA, ME, MT, NE, NH, UT, WY, MN, SD MN and SD: Master Electrician licenses may qualify for reciprocity. All licenses must be current and verifiable. Reciprocal applicants must obtain the appropriate North Dakota license before performing licensed electrical work. Must meet North Dakota licensing and project onboarding requirements. Minimum Qualifications Active ND Journeyman Electrician license or active Journeyman license from an eligible reciprocal state 4+ years of industrial electrical construction experience preferred Strong experience installing industrial conduit, cable tray, and electrical equipment Experience pulling and terminating industrial power and control wiring Familiarity with motors, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, and industrial power distribution Ability to read electrical blueprints, single-line diagrams, and schematics Experience working safely in active industrial construction environments Ability to work independently and maintain installation productivity Ability to work 5/10s with additional overtime as needed Ability to meet pre-employment and site-specific safety requirements Preferred Experience Soybean Processing and Agricultural Processing Facilities Petrochemical Plants and Refineries Chemical Processing Facilities Industrial Manufacturing and Production Plants Heavy Industrial Electrical Construction Motor Control Centers (MCCs) Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Switchgear and Transformer Installation Instrumentation and Process Control Wiring Industrial Equipment Startup and Commissioning Apprentice Opportunity Qualified Journeyman Electricians may bring one Electrical Apprentice.
