About ElectricianDB

ElectricianDB is a job discovery platform built for licensed electricians nationwide. We aggregate electrical openings — with a focus on data center and hyperscale work, prevailing-wage projects, and travel opportunities — and pair every listing with the licensing, certification, and pay context an electrician needs to evaluate it.

Beyond jobs, we publish reference guides: 51-state electrical license reciprocity, professional certifications with real ROI evidence, and (coming soon) prevailing-wage and per-diem data. Every guide cites primary sources and links the evidence, so you can verify our claims instead of trusting our brand.

ElectricianDB was founded in Oklahoma City, born out of firsthand recruiting experience placing skilled workers. We kept seeing the same gap: the difference between what electricians can earn and what they know is available.

A journeyman in one market has no idea a data-center project two states over pays double — or that their license reciprocates there, or that a $159 card would get them badged on site. That information exists, but it lives scattered across fifty licensing boards, a dozen certifying bodies, and a thousand job boards. We built ElectricianDB to put it in one place, with receipts.

When we successfully match a candidate with an employer, the employer pays us a placement fee. Candidates never pay us anything — not for job access, not for placement, not for any feature of the platform.
