LAUKOA is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain industrial electrical power, distribution, control, alarm, generator, and RDT&E systems at Tyndall Air Force Base. The position performs complex electrical work from plans, diagrams, technical data, and work orders while coordinating with the Master Electrician and other trades.
Journeyman Electrician

SCA Labor Category Match: 23160 – Electrician, Maintenance ($23.29)
Hourly Wage Range: $23.29 – $27.95
Rationale: Anchored exactly at the SCA floor because Appendix B.8 describes journey-level work that is squarely within the SCA Directory's Electrician, Maintenance definition. The +20% ceiling ($27.95) covers a 5-year-experienced journeyman with high-voltage and RDT&E exposure and keeps this position's range deliberately below the Master Electrician range so the two roles remain distinguishable in pricing and in any Service Contract Act audit.
Special Requirements: Mission Essential Contractor Personnel; same physical demands, PPE, LOTO, and color-vision requirements as REQ-002; potential agency-designated hazardous pay differential.
*This Position is Contingent Upon Award.
LAUKOA is an Equal Opportunity/VEVRAA federal contractor. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
